What reviewers say
TackleTour scored it 8.5 and gave it a best-value nod. The reviewer liked the freer IVCB-6 brakes, the smooth drag, and the comfortable handle and knobs. Their main caution was the lopsided body shape, which takes some getting used to. Some forum anglers remain wary because the previous generation had side-plate complaints, and long-term owner reports on this version are still thin.
Good
- Smooth, strong drag
- Brakes are easy to set
- Comfortable to palm all day
- Good price for the features
Not so good
- Asymmetric shape is not for everyone
- Older Revo models carry some durability doubts
Who it's for
Bass anglers ready for a serious baitcaster for jigs, crankbaits and moving baits. Skip it if you have never used a baitcaster and want to start simpler, or if you mainly throw very light lures.
