What reviewers say

OutdoorGearLab gave it its Best Bang for the Buck award among ultralight tents in 2026. Testers liked the weather resistance, the twin doors that help airflow, and the vestibule space for storing gear. The trade-offs they name are a two-step pitch (fly first, then inner) and a few more ounces than other trekking-pole shelters. Durston lists awards from several other outlets as well.

Good

  • Low price for its weight
  • Two doors, two big vestibules
  • Strong in wind and rain
  • Fly pitches first, so the inner stays dry

Not so good

  • Needs trekking poles
  • Takes practice to get a taut pitch
  • Heavier than some trekking-pole tents

Who it's for

Solo backpackers who carry trekking poles and want a light, weatherproof tent without a high price. Skip it if you want a freestanding tent for rock or platform sites.
